Presentation

Marion Froger's work (PhD, Pantheon-Sorbonne) intertwines the cinema and the human sciences to understand what role the cinema holds in the creation of the social link on an imaginary stage, (the one who allows the spectator to form a special bond with the people being filmed and with those who are filming) as on the concrete ground of the cinematographic practices. She directs the magazine, " Intermédialités" since July 1st, 2013. She holds the Chair for the study of contemporary Quebec at the University Paris 3.
