Course Recognition

  • You will receive a certificate acknowledging your participation in a CÉRIUM summer course.
  • This training is an eligible expenditure under the Act to promote workforce skills development and recognition.

Registration Fees

  • Government employees, businesses, members of the Quebec Bar, and Labour employees: $1,200 CAD
  • General public (salaried employees, retired persons, autonomous workers): $1000 CAD
  • Non-profit organizations and NGO's : 500$ CA
  • Non credited students : 475$ CA
  • Daily fare : 350$ CA

Quebec Students – Credit Courses

Each Summer School course can be taken for 1.5 credits or for 3 credits. These options vary in terms of required participation and workload. For further information, please consult the website of the Student Services to the following website: www.etudes.umontreal.ca/cours/

University of Montreal students can register for PLU courses by contacting their program’s student records clerk. Independent students as well as international exchange students may register by contacting Mrs. Sophie Schneider at 514-343-7877 or at the following email address: Sophie.Schneider@umontreal.ca. Tuition fees will be billed by the Income Section of the University of Montreal’s Finance Department.

The Summer School is also open to third-year undergraduate students who have already completed at least 60 credits and who hold a GPA of at least 3.5/4.3. Enrollment is conditional on the approval of their undergraduate program advisor.

Students from other Quebec universities must complete the online application form available on the BCI website (formerly the CREPUQ). Applicants are advised to communicate with Mrs. Sophie Schneider in order to confirm their registration. Tuition fees will be billed by the home university’s financial department. CRÉPUQ exchange students who wish to receive credit from their home university will be given a certificate from the coordinator of the summer course. No other official documents will be issued by the University of Montreal. Students are responsible for ensuring that these credits are recognized by their home institution.

International and Out-of-Province Students – Credit Courses

Canadian students from outside of Quebec, international students, and students without proof of citizenship must be enrolled in a recognized educational establishment since at least January 1, 2017, and are required to submit valid proof of enrollment (last official transcript or statement of account) by email to Capucine Berdah; (tel: 514 - 343-6111 poste 17290)

International students who wish to receive credit from their home university will be given a certificate from the coordinator of the summer course. No other official documents will be issued by the University of Montreal. Students are responsible for ensuring that these credits are recognized by their home institution.

Please note that tuition tax receipts will not be issued.

Credit Courses for students from the following universities :

University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, EHESS/Paris et SciencesPo/Paris
Graduate students can enroll through the exchange program with no additional fees. The attached form in French or English will have to be completed and sent to those involved at the Department of International Affairs.

Other Students – Non-Credit Courses

Registration fee: $ 475 CAD

To be considered a student, you must be enrolled in a recognized educational establishment since at least January 1, 2017. You are required to submit valid proof of enrollment (last official transcript or statement of account) by email to Capucine Berdah. (Tel : 514- 343-6111 poste 17290)

Please note that tuition tax receipts will not be issued.

Daily Rates

Persons who are interested in attending conferences that will be held on a particular date may do so by registering for the day.
Daily registration fee: $350 CAD

Method of Payment

The full amount of the registration fee can be paid online by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Cancellation Policy

CÉRIUM reserves the right to cancel a summer course due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is cancelled, registrants will be notified two weeks prior to the scheduled starting date and all fees will be refunded. CÉRIUM reserves the right to limit the number of spaces available in its summer courses.

Refund Policy

Terms of refund:

Cancellation more than 15 days prior to the beginning of a course: a $30 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund.
Cancellation less than 15 days prior to the beginning of a course: no refund.
