Éthier, Diane
Presentation
Diane Ethier studied philosophy (epistemology) at the Faculty of Letters of Université de Aix-Marseille while pursuing studies at the Institute of Political Science of Aix-en-Provence (from 1969 to 1971). She obtained a bachelor and a master degree in political science from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and a PhD in political economy at Université de Paris in 1986. She was a lecturer in the French Studies Program at McGill University, before to be recruited as professor at the University of Ottawa (1981-1984), and therefore by the Université de Montréal where she became adjunct, assistant and full professor ( between 1986 and 2014).
