Ross, George


George Ross (PhD, Harvard) is an Emeritus Hillquit Professor in Labor and Social Thought of Brandeis University, a researcher at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard and since 2008, he holds the Jean Monnet ad personam Chair at the European Union Centre of Excellence at the University of Montreal. He directed many research centres, served as president for both the Council for European Studies (1990-1997) and the European Union Studies Association (2003-2005) and participated in the management of many scientific journals.
