Thérien, Jean-Philippe


Jean-Philippe Thérien (PhD, Paris) is Director of the Centre for International Peace and Security Studies (CIPSS). His field of specialization is situated in the realm of international institutions, North South relations and inter-American relations. His research centers on the politics of foreign aid on the roles of international organizations in the area of development and on the recent evolution of inter-American cooperation. He was scientific Director of the CÉRIUM and received the prize for "researcher of the year at CÉRIUM" for the international reach of his research.
