Presentation

Luca Sollai is a doctoral candidate in History and lecturer at the University of Montreal. His thesis is entitled The opposition of the PCF and the PCI to NATO: a comparative analysis (1947-1955), and it aims to compare the opposition of the Italian and French communist parties to NATO. The chosen approach is to constructively integrate the national and international spheres so as not to limit the analysis to the logics of ideological conflict.

As a lecturer at UdeM, he notably taught the courses Historical Conflicts and Memory (INT6080) and History of the Soviet Union (HST2212).
