Élise Féron is a researcher at the Tampere Peace Research Institute in Finland.
Elise Féron is a researcher at the Tampere Peace Research Institute in Finland. Her research focuses, among other things, on community conflicts, diasporas and gender dimensions in conflicts. She also teaches as part of the master's degree in research on peace, mediation and conflicts. Before moving to Finland, she held permanent positions at the University of Kent, UK, and Sciences Po Lille, France.
During her visit to Montreal this week, Elise Féron will attend the Cérium's annual conference, International Feminist Perspectives - Understand, deconstruct, reinvent. She will participate in the panel entitled Feminism, gender and conflict resolution, with our scientific director, Laurence Deschamps-Laporte, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at UdeM, and Émilie El Khoury, postdoctoral researcher at the Center for International and Defense Policy from Queen's University, Ontario.
