Hugo Séguin dedicates himself to issues of energy, climate policy, and green economy. He teaches at the School of Applied Politics at the University of Sherbrooke and is the principal advisor to COPTICOM, Stratégies et relations publiques.
Hugo Séguin has worked in politics in Ottawa and Quebec, as well as in Montréal’s financial sector. He has also been involved in the Quebec, Canadian, and international environmental spheres for about fifteen years, and previously served as Director of Équiterre’s Climate and Energy Program. Mr. Séguin was a member of the Board of Directors of Greenpeace Canada from 2004 to 2007, and chaired Climate Action Network Canada between 2009 and 2011. He co-founded the Global Campaign for Climate Action (TckTckTck Campaign).
