Emma Donnaint is a PhD student in political science at the University of Montreal. Her thesis, supervised by Marie-Joëlle Zahar and Laurence Deschamps-Laporte, focuses on the participation of women in UN peacekeeping operations through the prism of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda of the Nations. United. Former coordinator of the Women, Peace and Security Research Network at McGill University, Emma disseminated research on WPS issues to the Department of National Defense and Global Affairs Canada for over a year.
