Florent Guntz is a PhD candidate in political science at the Université de Montréal, under the supervision of Laurie Beaudonnet. He holds a master's degree in public and international affairs from the same institution, and his research focuses on the mechanisms of European identity formation. His thesis specifically explores the potential impact of recent European crises on the mechanisms of identification among citizens with the European Union.
Florent Guntz has also participated in the pan-European project TRUEDEM, during which he organized over a dozen focus groups in Belgium, France, and Italy, in collaboration with UCLouvain, Sciences Po Grenoble, and the University of Salerno.
