Presentation
Emma Limane is a PhD student in the political science department at the University of Montreal. Her research focuses on the evolution of normative foreign policies in the face of upheavals in the international liberal order. Focusing on the case of Canada in the areas of Women, Peace, Security and the Protection of Civilians, her thesis evaluates how the individuals responsible for these programs adapt their normative frameworks in light of the rise of illiberalism.
