Presentation

Roman Perdomo is pursuing a PhD in political science at the University of Montreal, under the supervision of Françoise Montambeault. He holds a bachelor's degree in social sciences (Latin American Studies program) and a master's degree in political theory from Sciences Po Paris. He also coordinates the Research Team on Inclusion and Governance in Latin America (ERIGAL).

His research focuses on the reporting of corruption and the implementation of whistleblower policies in urban public services in Latin America, comparing the health and transportation administrations of Lima, Peru, and São Paulo, Brazil. In parallel, his work examines the transformations of civic engagement in contexts of democratic erosion, particularly in Peru.
