Sylla is a doctoral student in political science at the University of Montreal. Holder of a master's degree in comparative government sciences at the Grenoble Institute of Political Studies and a bachelor's degree in political science and public administration at the University of Sakarya (Turkey), his research focuses on the link between government projects Nation-Building and the mobilization of ethnic identity by elites and political parties during multi-party elections in sub-Saharan Africa.
