Presentation
Alexandre Veilleux is a doctoral candidate in Political Science at the Université de Montréal and a graduate of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Sustainable Territorial Development, a joint program between the Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy) and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). He also holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is interested in the political and socio-economic dimensions of tourism in Southeast Asia, as well as the mechanisms of dispossession in tourism development. Alexandre is an advisor to the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and teaches the courses POL1954 (International Politics) and POL3011 (International Relations in Southeast Asia).
