Camille Brugier

Camille Brugier is an independent researcher, associated with the Strategic Research Institute of the Military School and a collaborator within the Canadian Strategic Analysis Network.
As a Chinese speaker who grew up in Beijing and holds a PhD in political science from the European University Institute in Florence, she is a specialist in Chinese trade, technology and science policies.
Her company, La Chiniste, conducts commissioned research for NATO members and supports companies in conducting open-source studies on China.
Before working for herself, Camille spent several years in the service of the French government, first at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and then at IRSEM (Institut de Recherche Stratégique de l'Ecole Militaire) attached to the Ministry of the Armed Forces.
