International lawyer with nearly 15 years of experience in the fields of international affairs, public policy, communication and strategy.
Presentation
Annie Lagueux has advised four Canadian foreign ministers, including as senior advisor and policy director. She had previously advised the Minister of International Relations and Francophonie of Quebec.
She is particularly interested in geostrategic and geopolitical issues as well as human rights and international law issues. Annie has also worked within the International Criminal Tribunals of the UN, notably at the International Mechanism called upon to exercise the residual functions of the Criminal Tribunals (UN) and with the judges of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights.
She holds a double master’s degree in public international law from the University of Aix-Marseille and the University of Ottawa. She completed her bachelor’s degree in law at the University of Montreal. She is a lawyer with the Quebec Bar.
