Research Pole on Africa and the Emerging World (PRAME)
Mission
The Research Pole on Africa and the Emerging World (PRAME) is the first research grouping whose principal aim is to contribute to a better knowledge of the contemporary issues and the institutional, political, economic, and cultural dynamics induced by interactions between Africa and emerging countries.
Thus, PRAME dedicates itself to the analysis of issues pertaining both to Africa and the emerging countries involved in it. Members’ research revolves mainly around the following three areas:
- Africa
- Emerging world-Africa
- Emerging world-Africa-Traditional African powers
PRAME is the political pole of the Groupe interuniversitaire d’études et de recherches sur les sociétés africaines (GIERSA).
