Présentation

Formée en droit et en science politique, Özlem Lakatos a étudié aux Universités de Genève (Suisse), Bruxelles (Belgique), Moncton (Canada) et Amiens (France). Özlem est une chercheuse interdisciplinaire et candidate au doctorat en Science de la Société de l’Université de Genève. Elle s’intéresse au système des Nations Unies et plus particulièrement aux droits des femmes et aux droits de l’enfant. Dans cet espace, ses travaux explorent la production des normes, discours et représentations relatives aux filles.

Elle a été chercheuse invitée au Ralph Bunch Institute for International Studies de la City University of New York (2024-2025), assistante de recherche puis collaboratrice scientifique au Centre interfacultaire en droits de l’enfant de l’Université de Genève (2017-2024), et chargée d’études au Ministère de la Défense à Paris (2017). Au cours de ses études, elle a effectué plusieurs stages au sein d’organisations internationales (Conseil de l’Europe, Nations Unies Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie) et elle a été auxiliaire d’enseignement (en science politique et en français langue étrangère).

Özlem a également été volontaire auprès d’ONG au Sénégal, en Bulgarie et au Royaume-Uni. Elle est cofondatrice de l’association 30 ans de droits de l’enfant à Genève, et ancienne conseillère jeune de la ville d’Amiens et de la région de Picardie, ainsi qu’alumna du réseau Global Shapers du World Economic Forum.
